Position: Youth Soccer Coach
Location: Warren, MI (near 12 Mile and Ryan Rd)
Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Soccer Coach to join our team. This role involves coaching various age group teams, with an emphasis on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Time Commitment:
- Two weekly 90-minute training sessions
- One weekly game (approximately 10 games per season, plus two tournaments during the year)
Seasonal Commitment:
- Fall Season
- Winter Indoor Season
- Spring Season
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs that cater to various skill levels.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all players.
- Ensure player safety and adherence to game rules and regulations.
- Attend and successfully complete US Soccer grassroots coaching classes (cost covered by club).
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club officials.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals and strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with various age groups and skill levels.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in coaching.
- Previous coaching experience preferred, but not required.
